According to Dave Meltzer at WrestlingObserver.com, fomrer IWGP Heavyweight Champion (New Japan Pro Wrestling) Tadao Yasuda attempted suicide on Friday morning.
Yasuda, who has had a life of huge gambling debts, reportedly took an overdose of sleeping pills. He told a friend on Thursday that he was going to do it, and that friend found him on Friday, got him to the hospital, and likely saved his life.
