CBS was finally able to beat out ABC this week by a slim margin. The reason it won, though, was simply because it had the most-watched football game of the week, the New England Patriots vs. the Dallas Cowboys. Without that game, it probably would have ended in a tie, at best, with ABC.
To prove how close ABC and CBS were this week, they both had the most watched show of the week. ABC’s Dancing with the Stars and CBS’ CSI tied for the highest rated show this week. ABC powerhouses Grey’s Anatomy and Desperate Housewives were not too far behind either. CBS then filled up the remaining “top ten” spots as usual, with the exception of House, which is the only show that FOX has going for it until January. It should be another competitive week next week. So stay tuned…
