TNA Newsbits: Wrestlers Upset; Pre-Bound For Glory Dark Match Notes

News

*Pro Wrestling Torch reported that earlier in the day on Sunday, several stars had planned to confront Dixie Carter about current issues involving management and creative. The group was led by Kurt Angle and included Samoa Joe, Team 3D, and Christian Cage. They are upset with Jeff Jarrett, the booking, and the decisions that were made for the first two of the two hour Impacts. Jarrett remains the go-to man over creative and booking decisions, seconded by Dutch Mantel and Vince Russo.

PWInsider reports on the following dark matches that appeared before Bound for Glory:

*The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley) defeated Johnny Swinger and Joey Matthews. Matthews and Swinger wore matching outfits and even performed the “Problem Solver” finisher that Swinger and Diamond used in ECW.

*Ms. Brooks defeated a local DJ from Project 96.1 FM. The DJ worked on the mic, saying that if he won that Brooks would have to go back to his hotel room, but if Ms. Brooks won, she could take a shot at his “family jewels”. Needless to say, she nailed him there and hit a DDT to score the pin in less than a minute.

*After that, Don West and Mike Tenay were introduced, followed by the Spanish announce team. The crowd went into an “Eddie” chant repeatedly after Hector Guerrero was introduced.
