When Paramount Pictures released the Apocalypse Now: The Complete Dossier two-disc DVD, it was thought to have been an ultimate edition. It had two cuts of the Francis Ford Coppola classic, as well as a number of bonus features.
Yet, it was missing the classic documentary about the making of Apocalypse Now – Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker’s Apocalypse.
Well, Paramount has announced that the documentary will see the light of day on November 20. Included with the documentary is an optional commentary track with Francis and Eleanor Coppola and a featurette entitled “CODA: Thirty Years Later.”
