According to ECW.com, each Tuesday’s show will now be streamed on WWE.com on Wednesdays.
The site is having a contest to come up with a name for the new online replay. My official vote will be “Velocity” but we’ll see.
ECW’s U.S. television contract is up at the end of the year, and ECW and Smackdown will now be ‘sharing talent’ on their TV shows, so there has been speculation that the end of WWE’s third brand is near. Personally, I just think this is a way for WWE to test the show as a Web-only program — similar to TNA’s successful “TNA Today” — in case the ECW contract is not renewed. Time will tell…
