Welcome to Pulse Wrestling’s WWE Cyber Sunday Live Coverage. Keep it here for match-by-match updates, with the latest in ITALICS.

In a pre-show dark match, according to PWInsider, Jesse & Festus beat Deuce & Domino.

Todd is posted at the Cyber Sunday Voting Center. Finlay & Mysterio come out, and it is announced that a Stretcher Match is the winner.

Finlay vs. Rey Mysterio – Stretcher Match
They tie up a bit to start, then slap each other around. They quickly fall to the floor, and Finlay suplexes Mysterio on the stretcher, but Mysterio does stay on long enough to push him up the aisle. They fight in the ring, and they climb up the turnbuckle that had the shillelagh on the pole, in case that match was selected. Mysterio eventually gets the shillelagh, but Finlay crotches Mysterio on the top rope, and they fall to the floor. Mysterio then slams the stretcher into Finlay’s gut, trapping him in between the stretcher & the ring. Mysterio does a 619, kicking Finlay onto the stretcher. Mysterio then gets in the ring, and flips over the top rope on Finlay, and starts to shove the stretcher to the end of the aisle, however a cable gets caught up on the wheel. Finlay gets off the stretcher and Mysterio flapjacks him back on, and shoves him over the line at the end of the aisle.
Winner – Mysterio

Backstage, Matt Hardy is injured from Mysterio’s knee brace on SmackDown. MVP comes in and says that he didn’t want to fight Matt anyway. Matt informs MVP that Vickie has now made a US Title match, with MVP facing either Mark Henry, The Great Khali or Kane. MVP is upset.

They show Maria as a pussy cat, and Victoria as a sumo as part of the Diva costume contest.

Todd is at Cyber Sunday Central, and it is revealed that The Miz will face CM Punk!

CM Punk vs. The Miz – ECW Championship
I’d say this is a pretty big surprise. Miz comes out and starts the match off pretty strong. Miz dominates most of the match, sending CM to the corner, and does a diving clothesline. Miz has CM propped on the second rope (619 style), and he springboards off of CM’s back, flies over the top rope, and pulls CM’s neck down on the ropes. Miz is gloating, and is slow to get in the ring, and only gets a 2 count. Miz goes to the top, but CM runs up and hip tosses him down. CM corners Miz, runs in with a knee, and then runs out with Miz in a bulldog. CM goes for the GTS, but Miz comes off, and kicks CM in the gut. Miz goes off the ropes, and CM ducks a boot to the head, and picks up Miz for the GTS.
Winner – CM Punk

More Diva Costume Contestants, Mickie as an Indian, and Torrie as a Redskins player.

They recap the Randy Orton stuff for the past month.

William Regal comes out and says that the 2 losers of the WWE Title Match voting will face each other next. They go to the polls, and HBK won in a landslide.

Mr. Kennedy vs. Jeff Hardy
Hardy pounds Kennedy in the corner, and knocks him to the floor. Hardy then flies to the floor on Kennedy. On the floor, Kennedy eventually takes over, and as Hardy gets in the ring, Kennedy boots him in the head. Jeff fights back, hits a clothesline, then hits the Whisper in the Wind, and sits Kennedy down in the corner, and goes for the mule kick, but Kennedy rolls out of the way, and Jeff hits his head hard. Kennedy quickly rolls him up for the pin.
Winner – Kennedy

More Diva Costumes, McCool as Eve from the Garden of Eden, and Melina as a Vegas Show Girl.

The new SmackDown girl wants to interview Foley, but JBL steps up and starts yelling. He then shows an advertisement to vote for him! It was great. Foley then runs down JBL, and wants your votes.

After MVP comes to the ring, they go to Todd & Vickie Guerrero at the Voting Central, and it is revealed that Kane has won the votes to face MVP.

Montel Vontavious Porter (c) vs. Kane – US Title
MVP starts strong, working on Kane’s sore ribs from Big Daddy V. Kane takes over, and pulls MVP bow & arrow style around the ring post. MVP stays on the outside, and looks like he is trying to get back in the ring, but stays out for the full 10 count.
Winner via Count Out – Kane

(Note: PK’s cable went out, so we’ll be tag-teaming the PPV results LIVE from Inside Pulse HQ in NYC…)

Randy Orton (c) vs. Shawn Michaels – WWE Title
Matthew Michaels here. Solid match, with a little lull in the middle, that featured Michaels working Randy’s left arm after the champ rammed his shoulder into the ringpost, and Orton working HBK’s back. Michaels had it won, and went for the Sweet Chin Music, which Orton countered with a… PUNCH right to the testicles for the DQ.
Winner via DQ – HBK

After the match, Shawn hit the superkick as Randy was going for the Legend Concusser Kick.

Brooke Adams is a jungle girl and Lillian Hall is Brittney, bitch.

Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs. Umaga – Street Fight Match

Grut here. Crowd didn’t like that decision, but they’ll be able to see the match better now that they’re not in a cage. HHH enters before Umaga for some reason. They meet on the ramp. Punches. Lots of punches. Pedigree reversed into nothing. Now they’re fighting behind the stage and they crash through the set. Still punching on the ramp. Now they’re fighting in the crowd. TNA! TNA! WWE rips off all they’re ideas. Umaga jumps over the ringside barrier, completely missing Triple H. Nice try, fatty. Back in the ring, Triple H in control. Triple H gets a trash can! He hits Umaga with it! 1! 2! 3! Triple H… sorry. Just 2. Umaga comes back with a Samoan Drop. Umaga with headbutts to Triple H’s back and torso. Butt splash by fatty. Hey, what do you call Umaga when he sticks things together? GLUEMAGA! Heh. More torso damage by the unintelligible monster. If he was a Hebrew we’d call him Jewmaga. Leg drop by Umaga and Triple H sells it like he’s on fire. Bear hug by the scary ghost Boomaga. Hunter punches out of it almost but Umaga suplexes him. Man, they had to build that cage, hang it up there, all that manpower and time for nothing. Butt smash by Umaga gets two. Umaga gets a chair. Triple H hits two ball shots, one with the chair. Triple H ddts Umaga on the chair. This upsets him, making him Bluemaga. He would also be called that if he was a smurf. Umaga kicks out, some stuff happens and Umaga hits the blackhole slam. Now he doing the three commentary table bit. They’ve yet to do a move on the tables. Now here it comes. He runs across all three tables and splashes Triple H. That should be it. Seriously, Umaga should pin him and get the three count. Instead he lets Triple H get back in the ring and misses a top rope head butt. DUMB! Triple H gets the sledgehammer. Triple H hits him with the sledgehammer, then the pedigree, and it’s all over.

Winner via unrealistic wrestling and weak sledgehammer shot – Triple H

WWE Diva Halloween Costume Contest
Mm here. I voted for Mickie. Kelly Kelly’s in second second, and the winner is…
Winner – YES! I was right! MY OPINION MATTERS!!!!

Steve Austin won the next one with 79% of the vote, so JBL and Mick Foley in the ring beat each other up (possibly setting up a Mania match?) until Austin comes out — glass breaks and all hell breaks loose, etc. — to play. JBL, however, gets the upper hand and starts beating on Austin, hitting a rather light Clothesline from Heck. Irish Whip reversed and we get a stunner (possibly setting up a, uhm, Mania match?) as Austin celebrates and Taker’s music starts…

Dave Batista (c) vs. The Undertaker – World Heavyweight Championship
Good choice to finish the show, especially given they got screwed out of the Mania main event slot earlier this year (in what was a pretty awesome match) and that DC is Batista’s home town and all. Anyway, this match wasn’t bad, but kind’ve plodded through until a series of false-finishers, kick-outs of each other’s big moves, and finally two Batista Bombs in a row for the clean win in the middle.
Winner – Batista

Thanks and goodnight!

I like Comics, Wrestling, Super Mario Bros & Dead Space. Oh ya, and Scott Pilgrim.
