Trying to keep pace with every comic book film that has come before it, The Flash has some confusion and controversy before filming even begins.

David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers, Fred Claus) has revealed that he has signed on with Warner Bros. to direct the film based on the comic speedster. Shawn Levy (Night At The Museum) left the director’s chair due to undisclosed reasons.

Due to come out after the much anticipated Justice League Of America film, Dobkin has said that his film take place in the same universe as it and as a direct spin-off. When asked what version of Flash he would be filming, Dobkin quickly responded with “Wally West.” This is in conjunction with recent rumors regarding the opening of JLA (includes spoilers).
