TOMMY LEE DROPS CASE AGAINST KID ROCK

Insider

Singer Kid Rock has escaped prosecution on charges of misdemeanor battery for a scuffle that took place between him and Tommy Lee at the MTV Video Music Awards last month.

While officials were set to charge Kid Rock (né Bob Ritchie) for taking a swipe at Lee (né Thomas Lee Bass) at the televised ceremony that took place at Las Vegas’ Palms Hotel & Casino, Lee has now decided to drop any charges stemming from the incident. Las Vegas’ Chief Deputy District Attorney Ron Bloxham told reporters, “It should be noted that Tommy Lee has requested that there be no prosecution relating to the incident and there were no injuries to either person.”

While the actual scuffle wasn’t caught by MTV cameramen, they did show security breaking the men up afterwards, as well as a grainy but unmistakable shot of 50 Cent making out with Paul Oakenfold up in a private opera box. Didn’t think anyone would catch that, did ya, 50 Cent? You heard it here first.
