PWInsider is reporting that Dwayne Johnson has indeed signed up to play supervillain Black Adam in the forthcoming Shazam movie, an adaptation of DC Comics’ Captain Marvel mythology.
Meanwhile, Marvel Comics have a cool interview with Alex Shelley up on their website. Ben Morse is already earning his keep. Shelley talks about life as an X-Men fanboy and how superheroes have inspired him in wrestling. He also says Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels are the other big comic book fans in TNA.
Bret Hart will be appearing with Jim Neidhart and Jimmy Hart, the original Hart Foundation members, on 10 November at the Ringside Fest in Times Square, New York. They will be doing a Q&A with the fans and Bret will be signing copies of his autobiography. Sid Vicious and Tammy Sytch are also scheduled to appear.
