Steve Williams is not being used as a trainer by WWE anymore. They wanted to cut the costs of flying him in from Colorado.
A number of WWE wrestlers have received letters from Congress asking them questions about steroids, including whether or not Vince McMahon ever told them to take them. Things have gotten quiet on the Congress front as relates to wrestling. It seems unlikely that anything is going to happen in the current session, which ends in a couple of weeks.
There’s no update yet on how the Vickie Guerrero storyline is going to progress now that Kristal Marshall has been fired. Originally, the idea was that the two conspired to get Teddy Long out of the picture so they could run Smackdown. Long was always nervous about being taken off TV with the heart attack angle, since he thought he might not get his spot back. One potential storyline would see Vickie falling for a heel like Edge or MVP and giving them preferential treatment but nothing has been decided yet.
According to an interview with The Sun in the UK, John Morrison and Melina are still together. Batista admitted in his book that he and Melina had slept together while she was supposed to be with Morrison.
