Is Nicolas Cage a wrestling fan? On Page Six of the New York Post, the esteemed actor/comic book fan was in attendance at the Ring of Honor show last Saturday in the Manhattan Center ballroom. Also in attendance with Cage was director Darren Aronofsky (The Fountain, Requiem for a Dream). Cage will be starring in Aronofsky’s upcoming film The Wrestler. Cage stayed for the entire show and later interviewed several of the grapplers who perform for Ring of Honor – a promotion described as “an alternative, an antidote to the bull[bleep] on TV.”
In The Wrestler Nicolas Cage will play Randy “The Ram” Robinson.
