U.S. Congress to Hold Steroids Hearings

According to WrestlingObserver.com, The House Energy and Commerce Committee will indeed hold hearings on performance enhancing drugs in sports after winter recess. Chaired by Representative Bobby Rush, the Committee will focus on pro wrestling and baseball, while also looking at other sports. Dave Meltzer implies that the Barry Bonds perjury and obstruction of justice indictments likely convinced Rush to finally set a date on the hearings that had been rumored since just after the Benoit family tragedy.
