Pulse Wrestling’s WWE Monday Night RAW Report For 11/19/2007
By Paul Marshall

RAW opens up with the running of the Olympic Torch, then to the usual video. We’re live from Fort Lauderdale, California. Jim Ross is solo commentating as Jerry Lawler has a match tonight against Santino Marella. Our opening segment features Shawn Michaels. Last night at Survivor Series, Shawn lost a great match against Randy Orton. HBK has the mic. He says that the better man won last night. He is out to invite Randy Orton to the ring so he can shake his hand.

Enter Randy Orton on the Titantron. Randy doesn’t want to come out to the ring. His face is beaten up badly. HBK says that he was going to kick Randy’s face in again tonight. He challenges him to yet another match for the WWE Championship. Randy says that Shawn is hell bent on ending his career. Randy states his previous successes with Shawn, Triple H, and John Cena. He goes on to say that the torch runner is on his way to the arena to pass the torch onto him. He says that Shawn has his chance and it is over.

KENNEDY!

Looks like the loud-mouth cow farmer from Wisconsin has an agenda. Shawn beats Kennedy to the punch and he dispatches Kennedy. Kennedy pulls Michaels out of the ring and he shoves him against the ring post. He gets on the mic and says that Shawn had his shot and it is someone else’s turn. Shawn invites Kennedy in for possibly an impromptu match tonight. Kennedy thinks about it, but he jumps off the apron. He says that nicknames are earned, not chosen. He goes on a list about what Shawn lost in his career. He has the guts to call Shawn a loser.

William Regal books the match for right now!

Shawn Michaels v. Mr. Kennedy

I don’t have my stopwatch tonight, so no match times tonight. The match starts and we take an ad break!

Commercials.

We are back and the bell has not yet sounded as both HBK and Kennedy are having an all out street fight! They continue to beat each other into the ringside seating! Back over the barricade and onto the announce table. J.R. loses his headset for a moment. Shawn hits the ring, but Kennedy has a steel chair and he tries to climb the ring. SWEET CHIN MUSIC TO THE CHAIR! Mr. Kennedy is knocked out and we get no match. Shawn’s music plays as he taunts Mr. Kennedy to “bring it.”

Winner: Match Never Started

Upcoming: Jeff Hardy v. Umaga.

It’s now time for the rematch that few people asked for. Santino Marella enters the ring. Last week, Jerry owned Santino with a rollup. Jerry Lawler has his ring attire tonight!

Jerry Lawler v. Santino Marella

We get the bell as Santino asks the referee to ban the closed fist for the match. Like that’ll work. King responds with a dropkick. They grapple in the center and King gets a clean break. Santino reverses and nails a couple shoulder thrusts before taking a bow. The King takes and misses Santino at the corner. Single arm DDT gets a two count. Santino mocks the King by taking and putting the King’s crown on. He will beat him like a government dog. He makes fun of some mannerisms that King usually says. That warrants a slap by the King. Hip toss connects and Santino looks in trouble for a moment. He works on the arm, but the King uses a backslide for the pin!

Winner: Jerry Lawler
Match Rating: *1/2

Almost immediately, Randy Orton sneaks up on Lawler and nails the RKO! Randy apologizes, saying that he couldn’t help himself. The torch runner has left the arena in Miami and is on his way here. It is only a matter of time before the torch gets passed.

Upcoming: The Passing of the Torch

Commercials.

The torch runner is still running. Backstage, Mr. Kennedy is with Todd Grisham. All Kennedy did was he went out to the ring to show Shawn some respect. What show are we watching again? He says that Shawn’s career is dissipating before our very eyes. He says that Shawn is holding everyone down. Kennedy says that Father Time will catch up, but next time their paths cross Shawn shouldn’t worry about Father Time.

Back to J.R., who reminds us of the comedy match involving Khali and Hornswoggle. The match was horrid, but at least I got a few laughs during the match. Thank God for Finlay rescuing his friend.

Backstage, it is the meeting of the minds. Mr. McMahon, Coach, and Regal are discussing Survivor Series. Regal and Coach talk about how they all motivated Hornswoggle. They seemed enjoyed about the match, but Mr. McMahon interrupts them. Enter Carlito, who comes in and shows appreciation to Mr. McMahon. I like what the secret wording from Carlito means. “I need a push”. He asks Carlito if he would like to face Hornswoggle tonight. Yeah, Carlito’s jobbing tonight. Mr. McMahon asks the laughing bums if he said anything funny.

It’s time for our mid hour main event. Jeff Hardy takes on Umaga and it is 9:41PM EST tonight. The match is NEXT!

Back up, Umaga nails Hardy with a couple stiff kicks, followed by a roundhouse kick for TWO! Another cover gets two as well. Umaga picks Hardy up and decks him in the head. He rips the shirt off Hardy and pulls on the hair. He nails another right hand and Hardy catches a break! Umaga is hung out to dry and he goes to the top and gets CAUGHT! Swinging side slam gets two! Umaga is really frustrated and he lets Hardy know about it. Knee drop from the second rope connects as Hardy rolls around. We need a nerve pinch counter that is the fifth or sixth time Umaga applied the nerve pinch in this match tonight. Hardy mounts a comeback, but walks into a big boot! Umaga is on top and he MISSES the splash! Both men are up and Umaga beats him to the punch. Hardy is prone for the REAR END COLLISON but he misses! Of all people, Gene Snitsky does a run in and the bell rings. Nearly a twenty minute match ending with a DQ? BS!

Winner: Jeff Hardy via DQ

Who needs the Rock for TV jokes? Anyways, Triple H says that as long as Umaga and Snitsky claim that they are badasses, then Triple H will be there proving why he is a badass.

Hardcore Holly is on his way to the ring. He has a match tonight against Cody Rhodes?! He wanted this match for tonight.

She says hello to an academy award winner who did a duet with Lillian on her new album. Jillian picks on Lillian for a moment. No one in Florida understands Mexican Talk. She is going to be singing. I have officially muted the television. I don’t know what is going on right now. She does opera and even MELINA covers her ears. Her version of opera is the sound of an old lady being pleasured. The red carpet is out and the passing of the torch is evident. “And then, there was none.” Randy Orton says that he has beaten Legends and Champions he has beaten everyone that there is to beat. It’s time for the passing of the torch. The runner is making his way closer to the ring. The runner is taken out by CHRIS JERICHO!!!!! HE IS BACK! Randy Orton is surprised as everyone else. The Save Us video plays. The lights is out and the Titantron shows the message Save_Us_Y2J. The countdown plays and HE IS OFFICIALLY BACK ON RAW! The roof blows off and Jericho is on the stage! Jericho looks happy to be back in the WWE and Randy Orton is pissed off. The code is indeed broken and Jericho raises the mic up. The music stops and Jericho listens to the fans chanting his name.

“WELCOME TO RAW IS JERICHO!!!”

This is the second coming and it is indeed real. He has not lost his touch. Randy Orton asks him who the hell he thinks he was. The last time Jericho was on RAW that he was being fired. He asks Jericho what he is saving us from. He is saving us from Orton’s personality, his face, his subscription to Blueball Magazine. This is GREAT! The most important thing is that he is here to save us from him. The first chance he gets he will take the championship from Randy Orton. No one will ever be the same again! The two men lock eyes on each other as Y2J’s music plays again.

Show over.
