– The Nasty Boys beat Dave Taylor & Drew McIntyre
Smackdown:
Vickie Guerrero finds Edge backstage and starts yelling at him. They start smiling at one another, hug and then kiss. Vickie books Batista vs Edge for the title next week.
JBL is in the ring and introduces MVP as the greatest US champion ever. He puts MVP over some more and gives him a ‘United Nations’ ring whilst mocking Matt Hardy. Rey Mysterio comes out to stand up for Matt Hardy, setting up a match with MVP later that night.
– John Morrison and The Miz beat The Major Brothers
Vince McMahon and Finlay have another discussion about being Irish backstage. Vince books Finlay & Hornswoggle vs Mark Henry for later.
Batista finds Vickie backstage. She says she did what she did because she loves Edge.
Kane beat Big Daddy V by DQ after Matt Striker brought a chair into the ring.
– MVP beat Rey Mysterio after reversing a huricanrana into a powerbomb, holding onto the ropes to get the pin.
– Finlay & Hornswoggle beat Mark Henry in a handicap match. Great Khali ‘evened things up’ after the match
– Jamie Noble beat Palumbo
– Torrie Wilson beat Victoria
Show ends with the Cutting Edge and Edge admits he had the Vickie plan in place four months ago. Batista is his guest and says Edge doesn’t deserve to be champion, but he does deserve an ass-kicking. He shoves Edge down and leaves. The lights go out and Undertaker appears in the ring. Edge runs away but Vickie is caught and Tombstoned. He stares Edge down as Vickie is taken out on a stretcher.

– Batista & Rey Mysterio beat Edge & MVP in a dark match to end the show.
