Preview: A bitter Edge returns
November 23, 2007Edge did what he does best at Survivor Series: Shock the world. The bitter Rated-R Superstar returned and cost Undertaker the chance to regain the World Heavyweight Championship during an epic Hell in a Cell encounter, helping Batista retain the gold in the process. What does the Rated-R Superstar’s return signify for all of SmackDown, and why did the outspoken, aggressive former champion target Undertaker? In a WWE Mobile exclusive, Edge claimed he would say all he needed to say on Friday night. WWE.com has learned that the Rated-R Superstar will host The Cutting Edge on SmackDown, and his guest will be none other than the World Heavyweight Champion, Batista. The United States Champion, MVP, will also be in Tampa, Fla., this Friday to be presented with a gift from the United Nations. At Survivor Series, Hornswoggle escaped the clutches of The Great Khali with an unlikely assist from Finlay, and on Raw, the leprechaun was once again helped by the Irishman when he defeated Carlito.
