WWE is planning to extend Florida Championship Wrestling, their latest developmental league. They want to build a 300-seat TV studio arena for tapings, similar to the Davis Arena used by OVW, with a show going into syndication throughout Florida. This would then help them to promote house shows with an expanded roster, which would include up to 60 contracted wrestlers. Obviously, this means they will be offering more developmental deals to talent in the near future. The plan is for FCW to run several shows per week rather than OVW’s weekend-only dates.
