The new Terminator trilogy is well underway with the casting of Christian Bale in the role of John Connor and McG set to direct. But not much about the film’s actual plot was known until now.
It has been said that the three new films would not completely ignore the original trilogy, but wouldn’t play directly off of them.
Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins takes John Connor who is now in his thirties and his wife Kate Brewster as they realize their fate. They must take Earth’s remaining survivors and build a resistance organization to fight against Skynet’s robot army that is building everyday. Little did they think there would be a traitor in their midst with a surprise no-one would ever suspect.
