The Ultimate Fighter 6 Finale Results

News, Results

Here are the results from the finale of Team Serra vs Team Dick:

Roger Huerta d Clay Guida (Tapout -> Rear Naked Choke, 0:51 R3)
Another excellent lightweight match (surprise, surprise) as Huerta came back from getting rocked at the end of round three to rock Guida and spin into a RNC for the win.

Matt Arroyo d John Kolosci (Tapout -> Armbar, 4:42 R1)
Nice work from Arroyo as he kept looking for the submission and finally sunk one in at the end of the round. Kolosci had a good outing avoiding all those attempts.

Mac Danzig d Tommy Speer (Tapout -> Rear Naked Choke, 2:01 R1)
No surprise here as Danzig controlled Speer from the start. Danzig wins the tournament, gets the contract and adds another name to an already loaded lightweight division. Oh, and we had an Andy Wang sighting in Danzig’s corner. Yeah, not that thrilling, but I’m just saying.

John Koppenhaver d Jared Rollins (TKO -> Strikes, 2:01 R3)
Kyle David Paul wouldn’t like this bloody affair, but there was a lot of energy here, and you have to admire War Machine using his last bit of energy to turn a kimura into a sweep and get the stoppage via GnP.

Troy Mandaloniz d Richie Hightower (TKO -> Strikes, 4:20 R1)
Fun while it lasted. Richie gassed and Troy took full advantage to get the stoppage.

George Sotiropoulous d Billy Miles (Tapout -> Rear Naked Choke, 1:36 R1)
So Sotiropoulous is now affiliated with Serra’s camp. And Billy still isn’t very good.

Ben Saunders d Dan Barrera (Unanimous Decision, 30-27, 29-28, 30-27)
I didn’t see this one as I was changing my daughter. Sorry.
