The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting that, according to Michael Benoit’s attorney, WWE has rejected an offer from the Chris Benoit estate that would guarantee no legal action against the company by Chris’ father in exchange for $2 million (that would be paid to Chris’ two surviving children).
Meanwhile, the Associated Press has reported that the fight over Chris’ estate is close to being settled.
In other Benoit news, according to PWInsider, the story is being included on several “top news stories of the year” lists, and a foundation has been set up in the memories of Nancy and Daniel Benoit.
