According to PWInsider, “a lot of people backstage were wondering why Chavo Guerrero returned to action there instead of on Smackdown.” Whether or not he’s officially moved to the ECW roster, it seems he will at least be facing CM Punk at house shows (he’s scheduled to fight Punk on 12/27 in New Jersey).
In other news:
– WWE Diva Search winner Eve Torres is slated to report to Ohio Valley Wrestling after the holidays to start training, as will new signee Plazma (real name Greg Marasciulo, from Mt. Sinai, NY, and a regular performer for New York Wrestling Connection on Long Island).
– WWE is looking for a Chinese commentator who speaks Mandarin and English, aged 20-50, male or female. The auditions end by 2/1.
– In an interview on KDSK 5 St. Louis to promote Tribute to the Troops, Randy Orton revealed that he and his wife are expecting their first child. Congratulations!
– Montel Vontavious Porter was recently on BET’s “Rap City” to promote the Smackdown vs. RAW 2008 video game.
– Tammy “Sunny” Sytch had posted harsh comments about Rena “Sable” Mero on her MySpace, but they’ve been taken down. Needless to say, she’s not a fan.
