Meanwhile, Sting has signed a new deal with TNA. He’ll make limited appearances for them throughout 2008.
Also, TNA wrestlers are under the impression that drug testing will commence towards the end of January.
At present, Ric Flair is not expected to work anymore house shows for WWE.
JBL is planning to release a range of JBL energy drinks. To this end, he is in discussions with Baywood International Inc. to form a company called Layfield Energy. Presumably, if this goes ahead, it means WWE has given him the merchandising rights to the ‘JBL’ name.
WWE’s tour of Mexico in February has been limited to just one date, in Guadalajara on the 10th. Instead, they’ll be in Guatemala on the 9th, Ecuador on the 12th and Chile on the 14th, as they continue their expansion into the South American markets.
