This week the teams began in Florence, Italy and travel to Mumbai, India. The detour involved a choice between pasting up a six-panel Bollywood poster and designing a 108-flower wedding garland. The road block involved delivery of propane tanks by cart to two addresses. Kynt and Vyxsin also had a speed bump to navigate. How did everyone do? Here we go.

U-turn: KV on Nic and Don?
TK AND RACHEL: They can get a little frustrated at times but they work so well together and are very efficient. Rachel does some flower work so they chose the flower task and did it well. TK did the road block quickly. Their prize for their efficiency was a trip to St. Maarten. Contenders for the million for sure.
NICOLAS AND DONALD: How can anyone not be cheering for them now? They seem to have ice in their veins. They just don’t lose their cool. They have done printing before so they did the paste up detour. Nicolas did a great job at the road block (I think Donald has to catch up in that department). Lost time in transit but that happened to every team here. A good leg again by the boys.
RON AND CHRISTINA: They chose the paste-up detour and unfortunately, it just took a couple of things to go wrong for the bad Ron to resurface. If he wasn’t barking at Chris, he was arguing with the judge. They did get that done eventually then Ron did a nice job at the road block. Middle of the pack once again but they have to work better together if they have any hope of winning this.
NATHAN AND JENNIFER: Biggest problem with them? They’re too competitive. It was a tough leg for them. They took a very long time to find a clue in the form of a newspaper ad. They struggled through the flower detour. However Jen, the little dynamo that she is, did an good job at the road block despite a little slip forgetting to get receipts. They also had trouble making the pit stop but got there fourth to race another day.
KYNT AND VYXSIN: Yep, the Goths are no more. The speed bump involved them doing yoga and believe me, seeing Vyxsin do yoga is a VERY nice thing. It did cost them a fair bit of time and only Nate and Jen’s follies kept them in the game. They did a fine job at the detour but then at the U-turn, they took a chance that Nicolas and Donald were behind them and U-turned them. Problem was, they weren’t. Kynt had trouble at the road block as he misunderstood he needed to return all the receipts for the deliveries before getting the final clue. That cost them in the end. Phil called them the most fashionable team ever in the race. Despite how they look, they seem like a great couple and I wish them the best.
