There have been numerous rumors for a couple years now leaving horror fans wondering if Freddy would ever battle Jason again. Well for now that seems to be on the back burner, but the man with knives as fingers is on his way back.
New Line is going to be making another Nightmare On Elm Street film sometime in the future. There is no word yet on what the film will be about, but anything you’ve heard of the rumored prequel can now be put to rest because that is dead.
Freddy Vs. Jason 2 appears to be on permanent hold with no word on when that could possibly come to life, if at all. It appears that with a remake of the original Friday The 13th already in the works, Freddy certainly wanted to throw his hat back into the ring.
