Warner has inadvertently revealed plans to bring the Will Smith blockbuster I Am Legend to high-def this spring.
Thanks to some promotional materials being shipped to retailers ahead of the official announce, the Blu-ray edition of the $200 million-plus grossing sci-fi smash will hit stores March 18 (day-and-date with the standard-def DVD), to be followed three weeks later by the HD DVD on April 8.
Early word is that the two high-def releases will include both the theatrical and unrated versions of the movie (complete with an alternate ending), though whether seamless branching (or some other interactivity) is involved remains unknown.
Warner has set a suggested list price for $35.98 for the Blu-ray and HD DVD versions.
