Lashley Leaves WWE?

News

According to his website, Bobby Lashley has left WWE.

“I am sorry to everyone here but I am serious when I say I won’t be back. Everyone wants to come here and hear the real story and I am telling you the real story. Circumstances which are out of my control left me no decision but to leave the WWE. I can’t go into details of this now but like I said before sometimes people will hate you personally and try to destroy you which has happened here. Evil has prevailed however like I said before if you continue your struggle doors will open around these people. You have not scene the last of me so please don’t stop your support. Add Bobby Lashley to the list of RECENTLY RELEASED!”

In a recent post he had teased working in MMA at some point. Lashley was removed from the opening credits of Raw this week. He has been growing more disillusioned with WWE ever since his girlfriend, Krystal Marshall, was let go after refusing to agree to an angle in which she would become Edge’s on-screen lover. Lashley has also been unhappy with the way in which WWE have treated him whilst he has been out injured, particularly as he has been cleared to return but they have not come up with anything for him. At the moment he is still under WWE contract.

Meanwhile, John Cena confirmed in an interview with The Sun that he will not be wrestling at WrestleMania 24 due to production starting on his next WWE movie, 12 Rounds. He said he hopes to attend the Hall of Fame ceremony.

The Baltimore Sun has a great interview with Rob Van Dam up on their website.
