The Show:

The show opens with a video package hyping Tomko. AJ and Angle are arguing after over whether or not to have the match. Angle threatens AJ to not screw him over.

3D Devine vs Lethal MCMG

Team 3D comes out and cuts a trash talking promo about Lethal/Motor City Machine Guns. Lethal MCMG appear on the ‘tron and are spoofing 3D from their ECW days, hilariously I might add. 3D and Devine attack them backstage and bring them out to the ring all while pounding them with chairs, stairs, and kendo sticks.

Bubba powerbombs Shelley through a table, D-Von power bombs Sabin through a table and Lethal gets laid out with a chair shot.

Bubba cuts another promo telling Lethal/MCMG are just little boys and that 3D are men. They warn them not to show up at AAO or else.

Steiner and Petey promo backstage. Steiner warmed up to getting an X title shot, and even steals a phrase from the Rock. Petey tells Steiner that he has a problem, if 3D wins at AAO there wont be anymore X division.

Rock and Rave Infection vs Petey Williams and Scott Steiner

Rock and Rave Infection come out with Guitar Hero controllers

Petey comes out doing his best Chris Masters impression, Steiner comes out second. Petey takes control early and does a lot of Steiner mannerisms, much to Steiner’s dislike.

Rave and Hoyt start making a come back but Petey makes the tag to Steiner who cleans house with suplexes and clotheslines. He tags back out to Petey. Steiner takes both suitcases and hits Petey with one before walking out. Rave hits his finisher for the win.

BG James and his father Bullet have a training video, BG says he always wears protection.

Kip James w/Roxxie vs Hernandez w/Shelley

Back and forth the two fight until Kip gains the advantage. Shelley tries to get involved but Roxxie stops her, Kip sets up Hernandez for Roxxie to attack but Hernandez ducks and the powder goes into Kips’ eyes. Hernandez pins Kip for the win. Post match Kip tells Roxxie she looks like Stevie Nix from the 80’s and fires her.

Backstage AJ apologies to Tomko for last week and tries to talk him out of facing Angle. Tomko tells AJ to stay out of his way.

Upcoming UFC PPV Plug.

Angle talks about how good Lesnar is, Lesnar does the same. Frank Mir compliments Lesnar but says he should be worried about what will happen in the ring and not about the publicity.

Plug for barbed wire massacre 2

Judas Mesias w/ Mitchell vs Jobber (Cory Javis?)

Mesias comes out wearing a Shao Khan mask and dominates Cory with splashes, a spear and a jumping flat liner (Shelton Benjamin’s finisher) for the win.
Post match: Mitchell cuts a promo on Abyss. He says Abyss feels guilt and not shame about letting his mother do what she did to him. And that he’s trying to redeem himself by rolling in thumbtacks and all the other sorts of violence. Judas was chewing on a piece of barbed wire the whole time.

Shark Boy video package showing his transformation to Austin.

He comes out after and says he’s ready to kick anyone’s ass in the building. He issues an open challenge to any dumb s.o.b. in the back to come out. Sharky gets a few “Hell Yeahs” Sharky thinks Slick Johnson said something (“What?”), Shark Austin tells Slick he hasn’t seen a head like that since that octopus that he stomped a mud hole in and walked it dry. Stunner to Slick, stunners to staff members. Shark Boy guzzles some clam juice and we go backstage.

Morgan demands answers from Cornette. Corny talks Morgan down and tells him he has to stay calm and make sure they sign Samoa Joe. Morgan threatens to attack Joe, and Nash. Nash walks in and makes sure that things go smoothly and if not, he won’t bail them out this time. AJ comes in after and begs Cornette to stop Angle vs Tomko tonight. Cornette tells AJ to come back later, he’ll do something about it.

-commercial break-

Cornette in the ring, calls out AJ and tells AJ he feels sorry for him and that he doesn’t want AJ to feel helpless about the situation. So he makes AJ the ref, and if he doesn’t declare a winner, AJ is fired.

Kong and her assistant are backstage, her manager says that Kong is peaceful until agitated, and O.D.B. has agitated her.

Roxxie vs Angelina Love vs O.D.B.

ODB got a huge pop. Roxxie and ODB imitate one another, AL attacks both during this and we cut to a commercial mid match.

-commercial break-

ODB and Roxxie are still trying to one up the other. This time by chopping Angelina Love. AL rolls out while ODB and Roxxie pound away at each other. AL starts to distract the ref with her puppies while ODB nails her running power slam. ODB walks over to the ref, AL slides into the ring and pins Roxxie, the ref slides under ODB’s legs and pins Roxxie.

AJ interview with Borash backstage. AJ doesn’t know what to do, Angle comes over and tells AJ he’s going to raise his arm in victory. Tomko comes over and tells Angle he’s not going to do anything. The two begin brawling.

Recap to the previous PPV where Roode decked Sharmell. Booker sent a promo from his home saying Sharmell is recovering fine and that he thanks the fans for their support.

Roode comes out and says that Booker is pathetic and to take a commercial break before he gets sick.

-commercial break-

Robert Roode, Payton Banks, and James Storm vs Eric Young, Ms. Brooks, and Sonjay Dutt

Dutt and Roode start off as Sonjay gets in some quick offense. Sonjay’s momentum ends with Storm pulling his legs off the apron, cashing him to crash face first. Storm and Roode take turns hammering on Dutt, but finally Dutt makes the hot tag to Eric Young. MS. Brooks runs in and attacks Payton and chases her into the back, the camera cuts back to the ring right when Eric gets super kicked by Storm followed by a fisherman suplex by Roode.

Post match: Booker T comes flying out of nowhere and attacks Roode into the back.

Samoa Joe and Nash are seen walking in the hallway on their way to the ring.

-commercial break-

Kaz is backstage looking like an imitation of a imitation of the Ultimate Warrior. He shows Misty The Rat to the screen and says she pulled a Michael Jackson (she’s white now). He offers Black Reign a game. There will be a match with four poles. At the top of 3 will be mouse traps. The other will have Misty.

Cornette is in the ring with the table, contract, and Morgan. Joe and Nash come out and Cornette proceeds to kiss Joe’s ass and gives him the contract to sign. Joe needs a pen to sign the contract with, Morgan has one and throws it at Joe and then piefaces him. Joe flips out and back suplexes him through the table and rips up the contract (why the contract?)

-commercial break-

Angle vs Tomko

AJ comes out looking worried and angry (still wearing the crown though!)

Angle comes out with Karen and Tomko comes out with a bit of a face pop.

Tomko wastes no time in attacking Angle, he quickly gets him out of the ring and gives Angle no breathing time. Tomko brings it back in and Angle goes for the Olympic Slam but Tomko blocks and gets a running power slam. AJ refuses to pin, Tomko argues and Angle does a German suplex.

-commercial break-

We come back with Angle and Tomko trading blows, a replay shows that AJ was very slow to count a pin on Tomko for Angle. Fast forward to now, Tomko hits a clothesline and goes for the pin. AJ is very slow to pin again!

Tomko hits a power slam and AJ does yet another slow count. Big boot to Angle and AJ pins slow yet again. Angle reverses a suplex into the Olympic Slam followed by the Ankle lock. Tomko rolls through and Angle collides with AJ, sending him to the floor.

Christan Cage comes running from the back and hits Angle in the head with the TNA World Title, Tomko is revived and lands his finisher on Angle. Tomko goes for the win. AJ gets on his knees and pleads to Tomko. He does the 1 count, pleas again, does the 2 count, pleads one final time and slams his hand down for the 3. Tomko gets the win.

Post match: Karen slaps AJ, cameras cut backstage to Christian who tells us that he wants to do whats best for Tomko.

End of show.

The Inside Pulse
Pretty good show all around. I absolutely LOVED the MCMG/Lethal promo. Shelly’s imitation of Bubba Dudley is a sight to behold. Shark Boy was also really cool, albeit a bit pointless. Though, I’m deeply saddened to see a ref bump and run in during the ME. I know it’s to set up a new angle for the Angle/Cage/Tomko program they have going but people are right when they say that TNA does too many bumps.
