I love the Aqua Teens, and it’s been one of my favorite shows for a long time, but this season is just weak. Of course, it doesn’t help when the one episode from the season I liked and was looking forward to seeing wasn’t on the DVD, but even one good episode out of 14 isn’t a ratio you’re shooting for. Speaking of the one episode not being on there, I haven’t figured out yet if it’s just me, or if no body gets that episode, or if I’m just not finding it and they have it hidden somewhere. I’m pretty sure in season four when the “Play All” feature played all the episodes at the same time that wasn’t just my problem and they did that with all of them, but not having an episode on there, I don’t know.
If you don’t know already, the Aqua Teens are a crime solving trio that haven’t solved a crime since episode 1 season 1. Now they just use their talents to annoy their neighbor Carl and use his pool. In each episode some crazy series of events occurs and puts them in an difficult situation that they solve doing as little work as foodly possible. Frylock is the intelligent one, he’s a box of fries that floats and can shoot various beams out his eyes. Master Shake is the true leader of the Aqua Teens, but since no one listens to him, he picks on Meatwad all the time, he is a milk shake. Meatwad is a ball of meat, with a wooden brain with sparkles and noodles glued on, he can change his shape and irritate Shake.
So what episodes are you getting by getting this season?
“Dirtfoot” – Shake moves into a well with new roommate Dirtfoot
“Boost Mobile” – Shake turns the whole episode into a infomercial on Boost Mobile because he signed a contract with them
“Dickesode” – The local Chinese restraurant rips off Carl’s …thingie…and uses it to make a rocket ship.
“Hand Banana” – Frylock creates a dog for meatwad
“Party All the Time” – Frylock gets cancer.
“Bart Oates” – Carl is haunted by a spirit making him fix his wrongs
“Global Grilling” – A ATHF look at global warming, and why you should pick you boogers.
“Grim Reaper Gutters” – (Not on my copy) The Aqua Teens have to buy gutters to get a salesman to leave. Tera Patrick eats a corn dog.
“Moonajuana” – The mooninites return to mess with the Aqua Teens
“Ezekiel” – A miniature milk shake shows up thinking Master Shake is his father.
“Antenna” – Aliens build a giant antenna above Carls house
“Carl Wash” – Carl gets his brain taken out at the car wash.
“Star Studded Xmas Spectacular: Part I and II” – Master Shake and Meatwad hype Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters.
And this season is the first season with no silliness before the episode. No Mooninites, no south Jersey shore.
