More cuts and signings are happening as the NFL Scouting Combine rolls on in Indianapolis. Free agency doesn’t actually start until March 1, but teams are starting to talk to cut players and other free agents so agreements can be made. That way when it’s time, all they have to do is sign on the dotted line.

Other News

~ The Minnesota Vikings are expected to trade WR Troy Williamson to the Jacksonville Jaguars after the new NFL year starts at midnight on Friday. The Vikings are expected to receive a sixth-round draft pick in return for the wide receiver.

~ New England Patriots RB Kevin Faulk was arrested in Lafayette, LA on Friday night and charged with possession of marijuana. Faulk admitted the marijuana was his and received a letter letting him know of his court date. The Patriots are said to know of the situation and are looking into it.

~ The Carolina Panthers are looking at possibly bringing back WR Muhsin Muhammad who was released by the Bears last week.
