Tickets go on sale this Saturday for WWE’s Hall of Fame ceremony, taking place on March 29 at the Amway Arena in Orlando, FL. The Class of 2008 thus far is Ric Flair, Rocky Johnson and High Chief Peter Maivia, and The Rock has been announced to be there to induct his father and grandfather.
In an exclusive post on Prowrestling.net, Jason Powell is reporting that Jake “The Snake” Roberts will be inducted into the Hall of Fame as well. Roberts, currently in a Georgia rehab program reportedly paid for by WWE, would be granted a temporary release to attend the ceremony (although it was recently reported that he will be out soon and accepting bookings starting April 1), and Powell says there are rumors that Scott Hall would attend with him (he is in the same facility). According to other reports, including at Jim Ross’ blog, PWInsider.com and in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, others rumored to be under consideration are Gordon Solie, Mae Young and Jack & Jerry Brisco.
