According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscription information here), Shelley & Sabin are appearing on two upcoming ROH shows but TNA won’t allow their contracted talent to appear on TV, PPV or DVDs sold at retail outlets (although they are allowed on DVDs sold live or on the ROH Web site). TNA claims that something like this has always been allowed, and Gabe has said the deal was easy to put together. TNA offered Chris Daniels to ROH to help with the kayfabed “firing” angle before he was brought back as Curry Man, but between his asking price and expense of flying in from the West Coast, ROH opted not to do so.
In unrelated news, also from the Observer, ROH’s Julias Smokes was apparently in attendance at the TNA NYC debut house show.
