TNAmerican Gladiator, Hogans, Stacy Kiebler & Trish Stratus on TV

News

According to TNAwrestling.com, Matt Morgan was offered a contract by NBC to become the next American Gladiator, likely debuting on the second season of the revived show co-hosted by none other than 12-time world heavyweight champion Hulk Hogan.

Morgan said of his new opportunity, “To say I’m excited is a huge understatement. Wrestling is in my blood and TNA will always be my home – and the chance to appear on both TNA and American Gladiators is a major personal accomplishment.”

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscription information here), Morgan along with former WWE Tough Enough Champ Dan Puder and Matt Weise (Luther Reigns) had made the final cuts for next season, while Chris Masters had not.

Also from the Observer, Stacy Keibler will be in the March 10 October Road alongside her real-life boyfriend.

In other former WWE Diva news, PWInsider.com reports that Trish Stratus has been filming a new TV series in Europe. Called Stratusphere, the travel series will feature Stratus going to different locations outside of North America to learn about them.

Finally, Hulk’s daughter Brooke just got a 10-episode deal on VH-1 for her own spin-off of the Hogan family reality show “Hogan Knows Best” to be titled “Brooke Hogan Knows Best”, chronicling her move to Miami to start a life of her own. The Hulkster is likely to make an appearance on his little girl’s new show “from time to time”.
