Universal Home Video has announced the DVD release of Charlie Wilson’s War which stars Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts, and Philip Seymour Hoffman. The Mike Nichols directed drama will be available to own on April 22 and should retail at around $29.98. The film itself will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. Special features include a making-of featurette, and a “Who is Charlie Wilson?” featurette which profiles the real Charlie Wilson, plus interviews with Charlie Wilson, Joanne Herring, Tom Hanks, Aaron Sorkin, and Mike Nichols.
