Hall of Fame, World X Cup, Bret Hart News

WWE is planning to give rings to its Hall of Fame inductees.

Dwayne Johnson almost had to pull out of this year’s ceremony due to his filming schedule on Witch Mountain, which means he has to be in Las Vegas that weekend. However, owing to his grandmother’s ill-health and the fact that the ceremony is in her neck of the woods, he will be able to attend and induct his father and grandfather. He has to get back to filming the next day though, so he won’t be at WrestleMania itself.

Triple H is going to induct Ric Flair. Dusty Rhodes is expected to induct Eddie Graham or Gordon Solie, although Hulk Hogan has been pushing to get to induct Graham.

The three-hour Raw on 7th April has been pushed back to the 21st. It’ll most likely contain a draft lottery.

Bret Hart’s autobiography is set to be released in the USA this fall.

TNA is bringing back the World X Cup. It’ll take place on TV and finish at the May PPV, with teams from the USA, Canada, Japan and Mexico. Team USA will be Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Sonjay Dutt and Jay Lethal. Team Canada will be Petey Williams, Johnny Devine, Tyson Dux and another. Nothing has been confirmed about the Japanese and Mexican teams yet.
