Late-Night News Explosion: Hogan, Haas, Hardy & More!

News

PWInsider has reported a couple of new details on the Jeff Hardy situation, including that he knew he was being suspended before Raw and even had his fiancé at the show with him. He was apparently not happy after his long meeting with Vince McMahon and reports from PWInsider’s “WWE sources” had a feeling Jeff didn’t feel he had a problem and would leave WWE rather than go to rehab. Obviously only time will tell on that front.

Jim Ross’ latest blog entry addresses a number of topics, including Hardy. “To say I am disappointed in these recent events would be an understatement,” writes Ross, “and for those of us who have long believed in Jeff and have pulled for him throughout his career, these self inflicted wounds are especially distressing.” He also addressed the rumored “shoot” between WWE superstars and Floyd Mayweather’s posse at Raw. “Mayweather’s people tried to impose their physical will on many WWE Superstars which did not set well with some. Even after the TV show ended there were still several wrestlers fuming about the cheap shots ‘Money’s’ Posse took.”

F4Weekly’s Bryan Alvarez has a new column up over at TheFightNetwork.com talking about protecting top stars in wrestling vs. MMA. Good read, as always.

John Morrison’s got a new MySpace page here.

Prowrestling.net is reporting that there is some controversy surrounding the Hogan (surprise!) and Bischoff/Hervey celebrity wrestling reality show that will reportedly be airing on CMT. The gist is that others had apparently pitched the story beforehand to cable networks as well as to TNA and WWE, but now Hogan’s group has a TV deal. Click over to Jason Powell’s site for more details, and we’ll cover this story more as all of the facts eventually come out.

According to PWInsider.com, Jackie Gayda and Charlie Haas are expecting their second child. No word on whether or not the child will be born wearing a lucha mask. Congrats!
