Comedy Central delivers us yet another show dedicated to making fun of our Commander In Chief. And, like the previous show (That’s My Bush), while this could have been a funny show it’s just comes off as lame. The biggest problem is that George W. Bush and Co. are just too easy a target and the writers of the show don’t have to try very hard. Besides that, with him almost out of office and this 2008 election heavy on everyone’s minds, Bush jokes, at this point, are yesterdays news.

In this cartoon we get to see the continuing escapades of Lil’ George, Lil’ Cheney, Lil’ Rummy and Lil’ Condi as they run around being offensive, doing bad stuff, and screwing things up. Each episode is split up into two ten minute shorts. Each one covers some issue or another and they manage to fit in some stupid song to fill the episode out. Condi is always trying to get George to realize she likes him, Rummy is always talking about how is dad beats him and Cheney mostly mumbles and rips animals heads off and sucks out their insides.

I really don’t know what else I can say about this show. It’s not funny, it’s not entertaining, and doesn’t even really spread any kind of message accept that George W. Bush is ignorant and doesn’t care about anyone. Just cause you don’t like our President doesn’t mean you have to like this show that makes fun of him. I’m all for a good show that picks away and the powers that be, but that show isn’t found here.

Episodes:

Iraq/First Kiss

In the first episode, the gang goes to Iraq to get Lil’ George’s dad a birthday present. In the second episode they all make a bet as to who can kiss a girl first which leads to Lil’ Chenney having an affair with Barbara.

Nuked/Camp

In these episodes Lil’ George has a run in with Lil’ Kim Jong-Il then later the gang does a panty raid on a summer camp run by Al Qaeda.

Gay Friend/Mexican

First Lil’ George upsets his parents by befriending Lil’ Tony Blair then Lil’ George hires an illegal immigrant to do his chores so his dad won’t cancel MLK Day.

Global Warming/Hall Monitor

Here Lil’ Al Gore uses a time machine to prove to the gang that Global Warming is real. Later, Lil’ George goes up against Lil’ McCain to prove the power of the Hall Monitor.

Evolution/Press Corps Dinner

Lil’ George refuses take a test on evolution cause he doesn’t believe in it (and he’s lazy) then George Sr. invites his son to roast him a the Press Corps Dinner.

Hot Dog/Haunted House

Lil’ George takes on Lil’ Mikey Moore to bring hot dogs back to the school cafeteria then later the Lil’ Dems convince the gang to spend the night in the attic of the White House, which is haunted.

The film is presented in a fullscreen format 1.33:1. Sound is in Dolby Digital Stereo. The animation on this show isn’t that good either.

Commentaries with Cast And Crew: Each episode has commentary. They’re pretty typical commentaries. The best part is when they make fun of how bad the animation is.

Bonus Commentaries with Jerry Springer, Ralph Nader and Tucker Carlson: Three episodes get two commentaries with these guest speakers. The Springer one is just lame and Nader uses his time to rant about as many issues as he possibly can, rather impressive.

Lil’ George’s White House Tour: (1 min.) Lil’ George takes you on a slide show tour of his house and introduces his family members.

Interviews With The Cast: (6 min.) Poorly filmed interviews with cast and crew. Feels like it was put together in ten minutes.

Table Read: (6 min.) Highlights of the table read for the episode Hot Dog.

Never Before Seen Bonus Episode: “Walter Reed”: This episode is actually worse than the other ones. Don’t bother.

If you want good political comedy tune into The Daily Show or The Colbert Report. If you want a good cartoon about fowl mouthed kids tune into South Park. If you want lame, poorly animated show that touches on political humor and filters it through bad sitcom humor then go ahead and tune into this show.
