Speaking of this weekend, Nigel McGuinness vs. Delirious has been announced for Friday’s “Dragon Gate Challenge 2” show. Nigel refused to put his title on the line however since he would be facing Austin Aries the next night over. However, a victory over McGuinness would make huge strides for Delirious in getting an actual title shot.

Footage from this past week’s FIP show will be included in the next ROH videowire. The footage will show a number of locker room happenings as well as the attack footage of Nigel taking Austin Aries out during Aries’ FIP World Title match against Roderick Strong. Stay tuned for it!

It has also been announced that The Vulture Squad and the YRR will both be on the card for “Dragon Gate Challenge 2”.

Finally, and this is a bit complicated, whomever wins the title match between Nigel McGuinness and Austin Aries at “Supercard of Honor 3”, will defend the belt against their opponent from Sunday, as well as Roderick Strong and Erick Stevens in Boston, MA. The following night, should the winner from Boston already be booked in another match, Kevin Steen, the current title contender for Edison, NJ, will then be added to that match to receive his title shot. Once these title defenses are cleared, then Ring of Honor finally begin to make announcements regarding more title matches for the Detroit and Chicago shows.
