1 – What inspired you to get started in the wrestling business?

I had always been a fan and thought of breaking in, but the experience that really got me invested was training at the Shri Satpal Pehelwan Akhara, which is an amatuer wrestling school in Delhi, India. Those guys are crazy. They train 9 hours a day and wrestle in loincloths in clay pits. After I found that I could hang with those guys, I knew that I’d be getting into the business.

2 – Apart from the CHIKARA Wrestle Factory, how did you break into the business?

See above. I’ve also trained with ‘Playboy’ Buddy Rose and Colonel DeBeers in Portand.

3 – Do you like your current role in Ring of Honor? Would you like to wrestle more there?

I’m making great money in Ring of Honor without any of the bumps, bruises, or risk that come with wrestling. Why would I want to change that?

4 – What do you consider your greatest achievement in your career?

I had two matches with ‘Superstar’ Bill Dundee last year. When I met him before the first match, he didn’t look me in the eye when he said hello. Two months later when I saw him before the second match, I had been elevated to shake-into-the-hug-level. If that’s not an achievement, I don’t know what is.

5 – What is a) your favorite match of all time and b) your favorite match you’ve taken part in?

My favorite match of all time is when The Megapowers exploded on live TV in a tag match against the Twin Towers. My favorite match of my own is a strap match with Eddie Kingston in Toronto, October 2006.

6 – How do you feel towards Eddie Kingston making his way into Ring of Honor?

The King’s arrival into ROH is long overdue. That’s a fact I can’t deny despite our personal differences.

7 – What was it like being able to have a strut off with the legendary One Man Gang at CHIKARA King of Trios 2008?

Absolutely incredible. Akeem is the man!!

8 – What are your managerial and/or promo influences?

I like a lot of guys on the stick. Jake Robers, Foley, Piper, Hogan, Heenan, Flair, and Slick are the first names that pop into my mind.

9 – What will the rest of 2008 bear for Sweet and Sour?

I’ll be signing all the top guys in Ring of Honor and then selling their contracts to Vince McMahon, leaving ROH in shambles. It’s time to get out while the getting is good.

10 – Thank you for giving Pulse Wrestling your time to conduct this interview. Is there anything else you’d like to say?

12 Large, BROTHER!!!!
