Rey Mysterio’s biceps picked up an infection during surgery, which meant he needed an additional operation. He is still expected back by June owing to the experimental procedure favoured by his surgeon, Dr James Andrews.
There are rumours circulating about Steve Austin wrestling one last match at WrestleMania 25, which will be in Texas.
At one point the plan for the Floyd Mayweather vs Big Show match at WrestleMania 24 was for the Great Khali to get involved. He would interfere with the match so that Mayweather would get the win, only Mayweather wouldn’t realise there had been a run-in. Show and Khali would then square off after the match, Show would hit him with a move, then Mayweather would KO the weakened Khali with a punch. Obviously, thankfully, that didn’t happen.
WWE is looking to hire a Talent Brand Manager who would specifically work with the Divas. The job would entail developing and promoting concepts that would raise the Divas profiles, expand their fanbase, manage promotional appearances and endorsement deals and expanding on marketing ideas for them.
