WWE Beats TNA; Flair, Dusty, Boogeyman Updates

Archive

Dusty Rhodes is no longer writing ECW. His new role is to book Florida Championship Wrestling and work with the youngsters there to develop their skills. The role means he doesn’t have to travel as much since he already stays in Florida.

Ric Flair specifically requested that Triple H be the one to induct him into the Hall of Fame. Arn Anderson was never under consideration.

Flair wasn’t backstage at last night’s SD/ECW tapings. (Edit note: FYI, his CBS reality show starts on Tuesday.)

WWE has a new Boogeyman teddy bear coming out soon, so he may be back on TV shortly.

TNA had a mobile video truck in the Amway Arena parking lot at Raw last night but WWE forced the driver to take it away. They refunded his parking fee but he just moved to another nearby spot. They threatened to call the police to get him to move but he stayed put.

Also, WWE found out which company TNA were going to use to fly a plane over the Citrus Bowl during WrestleMania and successfully convinced them not to go ahead with it. The company told TNA this was due to bad weather but other planes were flying over the stadium that night.
