Forget judges, we don’t even need ring girls. No fight makes it out of the first round.

Jared Hamman vs. Po’ai Suganuma (Light Heavyweight)
Referee: Jon Schorle

Suganuma caught Hamman with a right hand early that wobbled Hamman. Suganuma followed with a flying knee that floored him. The ref stops it and Hamman is not pleased. It looked like a flash knockout for Hamman as he immediately regained his senses. Still, getting crumbled after a flying knee usually doesn’t leave a solid impression with the referee.
Winner – Po’ai Suganuma by TKO at 0:15 of the first round.

Televised Undercard

– Bao Quach knocked out Doug Evans early in the first round. Quach was striking well and dropped the two-time UFC fighter with a right hand and sealed the win by connecting with a hammerfist. Quach has won seven in a row.

– Giva Santana defeated Matt Lucas by armbar in the first round. Both middleweights were previously undefeated but now only Santana is. Santana is nickanmed the Arm Collector which is pretty lame, but he has won 10 of his 11 fights by submission and all have come by armbar. That is not lame.

– Shayna Baszler defeated Tama*Chan by neck crank in the first round. I don’t know what that asterisk is all about but apparently she has a little star in her name. Baszler brings a guitar to the cage and it doesn’t make sense. She just holds it up in the air and then hands it off. Whatever. Josh Barnett is in Baszler’s corner and she looked awesome. She executed a German suplex in addition to finishing with a neck crank.

– Fabricio Camoes defeated Joe Camacho by first round TKO. This was all Camoes. He got on top and pounded Camacho’s face until the referee took mercy upon him.
