Lionsgate Home Entertainment will be releasing a 1-disc as well as a 2-disc special edition of The Bank Job, starring Jason Statham and Saffron Burrows. This Roger Donaldson (The World’s Fastest Indian) directed film will be available in stores beginning July 15, 2008. The feature will be presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen and support an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. No word yet on the extras. A Blu-ray edition will also be available the same day.
The darkly comedic In Bruges, starring Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, and Ralph Fiennes, is coming to DVD on June 24, 2008. The film will be presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. Special features are set to include , extended scenes, 4 featurettes (When In Bruges, Strange Bruges, A Boat Trip Around Bruges, and F**king Bruges), and a gag reel.
The romantic comedy Definitely, Maybe from Universal will also be available on June 24. Starring Ryan Reynolds, Isla Fisher, Derek Luke, and Elizabeth Banks., the film will be presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. Extras will include a commentary with director Adam Brooks and Ryan Reynolds, deleted scenes, a Creating a Romance making of featurette, and a Changing Times of Definitely, Maybe featurette that looks at the production design of the film.
Sony Pictures will release The Other Boleyn Girl on June 10, 2008. The film, which stars Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson, and Eric Bana, will also be available on Blu-ray. Bonus materials include Camera Tests with Narration by Director Justin Chadwick, Director’s Commentary, Deleted & Extended Scenes, Members of the Court: Character Biographies, To Be A Lady: Court Etiquette Featurette, Translating History to the Screen, and Inside the Court: A Picture-in-Graphics Track (a BD exclusive).
