Matt Hardy did an in-ring interview with Michael Cole. MVP interrupts to try to talk Hardy out of their title match at Backlash. That doesn’t work, so he lays out Hardy with a belt shot.
Edge beat C.M. Punk with a Spear following some Familia distractions.
Vladmir Kozlov beat Marty Garner.
The Undertaker beat Batista to retain the World Heavyweight Title. Shawn Michaels ran in through the crowd and hit Batista with Sweet Chin Music, then Taker hit a Tombstone for the pin.
Reports state that the Edge/Punk and Taker/Batista matches were very good, as was the Moore/Miz bout.
