With just a couple weeks until Speed Racer jumps from the small screen and the animated world to theatres and live action; everyone is trying to jump on the bandwagon. SpikeTV has created their own replica of the Mach 5 to celebrate the big film.
The story begins with Speed Racer who is a young man with natural racing instincts whose goal is to win The Crucible, a cross-country car racing rally that took the life of his older brother, Rex Racer. Speed is loyal to the family business, run by his parents Pops and Mom. Pops designed Speed’s car, the Mach 5. Speed must do whatever it takes to win even if it means teaming up with his arch rival, Racer X.
