No one is laughing over Picturehouse’s horror-thriller Amusement as website Defamer is reporting that the studio is dumping the film directly to DVD after delaying its theatrical release nearly half a dozen times.
Our sources tell us there have been multiple reshoots and the film has been recut various times. I guess the film is beyond repair? Watch for something official soon.
The script centers on a traumatized woman who’s questioned by a cop and a psychiatrist about three stories — involving a clown, a hotel and a convoy — that involve her and two of her female friends from childhood.
