Spike TV has a handful of new one-hour pilot projects in development, according to Variety:
* River Men – about workers who steer large barges with cargo down the Mississippi River.
* USA vs. the World – Americans in dangerous occupations go head to head against their foreign counterparts.
* Tank & Cobra – spotlights two real-life bounty hunters.
* Human Predators – profiling men who take others lives
* Total Nonstop Action – about a Nashville-based professional-wrestling organization that emphasizes athleticism in addition to muscle strength.
* Caught in the Action – a hidden camera show.
* Surviving Terror – Cade Courtley just signed on as host.
* Idiot Hall of Fame – a 30m late-night show that showcases video footage of men doing stupid things.
TNA has been rumored to want a second TV show on Spike, either as an extension of their current Impact broadcast or as a one hour all-women’s show. Adding TNA to the pilot listing indicates that it’s under consideration for a second slot in the fall.
