Florida Marlins super duper Short Stop Hanley Ramirez has agreed to a 6 year 70 million dollar contract with the Marlins. Contract extensions don’t really mean all that much to the Marlins, this just keeps them away from the dreaded A word with Ramirez. Watch for the Marlins to contend for a championship in the next 2-3 years, and by the 4th year of this extension, Ramirez will be the hottest name on the trade market.
