Jason Powell at Prowrestling.net is reporting that Kurt Angle was legitimately advised by doctors not to wrestle on Sunday’s PPV, although he considered doing so anyway. Prowrestling.net’s sources confirm that TNA officials even spoke with Kurt’s doctor. Some in the company are concerned Kurt will try to wrestle even if not recovered in time for his scheduled feud with AJ Styles. Hopefully he puts his health first.
In other TNA news, according to Powell, TNA management is hopeful that Bobby Lashley will sign. He’s also been talking with NWE for shows in Spain and AAA in Mexico. Kurt Angle and Booker T have been trying to get him to come in.
Prowrestling.net ALSO reports that TNA made sure the head-shaving stipulation was cool with Roxxi before the match, which she was. Also, expect more women’s segments on iMPACT! since they’ve been getting solid ratings for some time now.
