MLB Daily Update: 05/27/2008

My home internet is pretty hit or miss right now, so when I couldn’t make it to work on Friday, I couldn’t do an update. Same thing with the holiday yesterday. So, I’m skipping the weekend scores. I’ll still list all of the rumors and transactions that were out there.

There was a big MLB debut Sunday and there will be another one today. Clayton Kershaw looked sharp in his debut; the 20 year old didn’t look bad at all. He got a no decision, but he got that fastball going.

Jay Bruce will start in center tonight for the Reds. He’s the top prospect in the game right now and a definite upgrade over Corey Patterson. If you can watch this game, you should.
