That Bootleg Guy can rejoice – Eric Chavez is off the DL. I actually think this will help the A’s; they have their star back. What’s better is the timing; with Frank Thomas on the DL, they can use Chavez as the DH to give him a break from playing in the field everyday (TBG is going to have some words for me, I think).
