The results from this Friday’s broadcast…
– La Familia throw a celebration for Edge and toast the end of The Undertaker’s career. The lights went out but it was just a joke by Edge. Vickie Guerrero announced that she and Edge were getting married on 11th July. Batista came out to challenge Edge to a title shot at Night of Champions. Vickie says he must win an 8-man tag match tonight, with partners of her choosing, and if he loses he never gets another shot.
– Finlay beat Chuck Palumbo in a Belfast Brawl, hitting him win a chain for the win.
– Big Show, complete with injured eye and all, came out to talk about his ECW title match at Night of Champions. Mark Henry came out, mocked him for the Singapore Cane match and challenged him to a match.
– THE GREAT MOTHERFUCKING KHALI beat Deuce & Domino.
– Backstage, Vickie Guerrero announced that Smackdown is getting its own Women’s Title.
– Cousin Sal beat Santino Marella with help from Roddy Piper and Jimmy Kimmel.
– Miz and John Morrison mock Hornswoggle backstage but Finlay puts an end to it. Hornswoggle gets his revenge with a water gun.
– Backstage, Edge asks Chavo Guerrero to be his best man for the wedding.
– Edge asks Chavo to be his best man at the wedding.
– Natalya Neidhart won a Dream Diva Match against the other Smackdown women, advancing in a tournament for the new women’s title.
– Vladmir Kozlov beat Jimmy Wang Yang. Shannon Moore stopped a post-match beatdown by Kozlov.
– Batista, Nunzio, Funaki & Colin Delaney beat Edge, Chavo, Hawkins & Ryder when Batista pinned Ryder.
There was then a dark match of Batista vs Edge & Vickie, which was very brief. Batista won with a powerbomb on Edge and then threw Vickie over the top rope.
